In a world that is becoming more and more mass produced, and AI generated, and where so many things are disposable and replaced when the next, newest, better thing comes along, it is rebellious to choose something unique, hand made, timeless, and crafted to be passed down to future generations. Choosing hand made, human made art preserves a legacy of ancient knowledge and skill and ensures that it will persevere into the future, for many more millennia to come.
Jamie Moon
Hello there,
In making things with my hands, really, I am making peace with the world around me. I love people, and I love to help, and I love to be involved. Because of that, I have spent half my life working as an acupuncturist, serving Kambo (which you can read about here), teaching classes, assisting a variety of healers in their ceremonies, and actively participating in my local communities. All of these things fill my cup, and burying my hands in mud keeps me grounded.
It is my hope that my creations can find their way into sacred spaces around the world, acting as functional beauty, and reminding those that have them that a human made them with love, with prayer, and with intention.
